The rescued material used to produce this bag was once a cover for the backpacks of the Italian Alpine trooper, who had to camouflage in the snow.
The external pocket was indeed the hood of the cover, necessary to hide the upper side of the packpack.
The cover has been repurposed by Sara who has also added an internal pocket and hand-paint this piece with natural dyes.

SAISEI is a Japanese word that means regeneration and rebirth: these are the founding principles of the brand.
The collections are created by repurposing materials like old hand-knitted hemp canvas, military tents, antique carpets.
Thanks to a creative and accurate work, such waste are transformed into unique bags.
